About
My research brings together economics, finance and the rules that shape markets. I am based at Université Paris-Dauphine–PSL.
I want to do research that is useful to others. My work examines how information, access to finance and the rules of trade shape investment and people’s choices. The questions that guide it concern livelihoods, the environment and the effects of public policy.
My current projects study illegal mining and carbon markets. With Hugues Pouget, I also develop Integral Economics, a programme that connects the financing of individual ventures to markets and the wider economy.
Alongside research, photography gives me another way to look closely at the world. I share both here, in the hope that they invite curiosity and conversation.
